Piano City Milano 2026
From May 15 to 17, 2026, PIANO CITY MILANO returns the city’s first widespread music festival: three days of free concerts in parks, squares, courtyards, private homes, and unusual venues, transforming Milan into a vast open-air stage.
On Sunday, May 17, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Museum’s historic courtyards will serve as the setting for an exceptional piano recital. A musical journey spanning the centuries, from the Baroque to the Contemporary, in a magical and timeless atmosphere.
An exciting musical journey spanning eras and styles, from the power of Tchaikovsky’s “Pathetique” and the lyricism of Grieg, Satie, and Debussy, to the virtuosity of Scarlatti, Ravel, Chopin, and Liszt, to the romanticism of Eliana Grasso, a tribute marking the centennial of Hans Werner Henze, and the “Hungarian-style” sounds of the Miller and Marton-Argerich duo.
