Maestra gli orologi si sono sciolti
During a school field trip to an exhibition on Salvador Dalí, Olivia mysteriously disappears. Found shortly afterward, she explains her tardiness by recounting an adventure beyond time and space, transforming ordinary moments into surreal situations: clocks that melt, causing her to lose track of time; sofas that turn out to be towering elephants carrying her high above the clouds; optical illusions that become traps; and a giant drawer where even Dalí himself is hiding—or perhaps a janitor who bears a striking resemblance to him. While the teacher tries to bring Olivia back down to earth, it is the mysterious janitor who defends the little girl, insisting that every word of her story is true. Between reality and imagination, dream and memory, this story is a tribute to the power of art to confuse, amaze, and—why not—reveal new truths.
A poetic and visionary picture book that makes you laugh, think, and let your imagination run wild, inspired by the works and surreal world of Salvador Dalí.
